Model 656 – Octagonal Section: Custom design with an octagonal cross-section. Careful attention to internal and external detail is a feature of this unit. Test Section is 8” x 10” exclusive of corners. A 2 H.P. drive will produce more than 150 fps velocity. Motor Control and piezometer are included and mounted on the support frame.

Model 657 – (Fan Test) Dynamometer Tunnel: Model 657 is a tunnel with a rectangular cross-section. A full 10” x 8” area is available in the test section. It can be provided as a dual purpose testing machine by use of a separable vertical return section. This wind tunnel can be used for testing fans and blowers. Test Section velocities above 100 fps are provided in a compact arrangement.

Model 658 – Basic Closed Circuit Design: This model has a rectangular test section and can be supplied in several sizes. It is available with test sections of 8” x 10”, 9” x 12”, or 12” x 12” areas. Corresponding tunnel lengths would nominally be 10 ft, 12 ft, and 14 ft, respectfully. To obtain 200 fps velocity, 18” to 20” propeller diameter is required, with some increase in overall length to obtain proper duct proportions and improved pressure recovery. Click Here for Diagrams
